Description
Linzess is a prescription medication used to treat irritable bowel syndrome with constipation (IBS-C) and chronic idiopathic constipation (CIC) in adults.

- It works by increasing fluid in the intestines, helping to soften stools and promote regular bowel movements.
How To Use:

- Take one capsule daily on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes before your first meal.

- Swallow the capsule whole. Do not crush, chew, or open it.

- If you have trouble swallowing the capsule, you may open it and sprinkle the contents into applesauce or water. Consume the mixture immediately.

- If you miss a dose, skip it and take the next dose at your regular time. Do not take two doses at once.
Warnings And Precautions:

- Do not take Linzess if you are allergic to linaclotide or any of the other ingredients.
Talk to your doctor before taking Linzess if you have:

- Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), such as Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis

- Severe diarrhea

- A blockage in your intestines

- Linzess may cause severe diarrhea. If you develop severe diarrhea, stop taking Linzess and contact your doctor.

- Linzess may interact with other medications. Tell your doctor about all the medications you are taking, including over-the-counter drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements.
