Possible side effects<\/p>\n
These include stomach pain, stomach discomfort, diarrhea, wind and feeling sick (nausea) or being sick (vomiting).<\/p>\n

How to take Mebendazole<\/b><\/p>\n
The dose of vermox depends on the type of worm infection you are treating. The most common worm infection of the gut is threadworm. Please consult your doctor if you are unsure.<\/p>\n
Threadworm Infection<\/p>\n
Adults and children over 2 years old: Take one 5ml dose. Repeat after 2-4 weeks. If symptoms are still present a few days after taking the dose, consult your doctor.<\/p>\n
Other Common Worm Infections (Ascariasis, trichuriasis, ankylostomiasis and mixed infections)<\/p>\n
Adults and children over 2 years old: Take one 5ml dose, morning and night for 3 days.<\/p>\n
Other Worm Infections (Taeniasis and strongyloidiasis)<\/p>\n
Adults: Take two 5ml doses (10ml) morning and night for 3 days.<\/p>\n
Children over 2 years old: Take one 5ml dose morning and night for 3 days.<\/p>\n
