Use:<\/strong>
Motilium is used to relieve nausea and vomiting<\/strong>, improve stomach motility<\/strong>, and reduce feelings of bloating, discomfort, or fullness<\/strong> caused by delayed gastric emptying.
It may also be prescribed to alleviate symptoms of indigestion<\/strong> and support normal digestion<\/strong> by promoting the movement of food through the digestive tract.<\/p>\n

How it works:<\/strong>
Domperidone works by blocking dopamine (D\u2082) receptors<\/strong> in the brain and gastrointestinal tract.
This prevents nausea and vomiting signals from reaching the vomiting center in the brain and stimulates the muscles of the stomach and intestines<\/strong>, allowing food to move more efficiently through the digestive system.<\/p>\n

Dosage and administration:<\/strong>
The usual adult dose is 10 mg (one tablet)<\/strong> taken three times daily<\/strong>, 15\u201330 minutes before meals<\/strong>.
Do not exceed 30 mg per day<\/strong> unless directed by your doctor.
Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew.
If a dose is missed, take it when remembered, but skip it if it is close to the next dose.<\/p>\n

Side effects:<\/strong>
Common side effects may include dry mouth, headache, dizziness, abdominal cramps, or mild diarrhea<\/strong>.
