Description
Zimax Suspension is a macrolide antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections.
Contains azithromycin, which works by stopping bacterial growth.
Suitable for children and patients who have difficulty swallowing tablets.

Uses:
Chest, throat, and nasal infections (e.g., bronchitis, sinusitis)
Ear infections
Skin and soft tissue infections
Sexually transmitted infections (e.g., Chlamydia)
Dosage and Administration:
Use as prescribed by a doctor
Typical pediatric dose: 10 mg/kg once daily for 3 days
Shake well before use
Measure dose using a proper measuring device
Can be taken with or without food
Warnings and Precautions:
Use with caution in patients with liver, kidney, or heart conditions
May affect heart rhythm (QT prolongation)
Avoid use with ergot derivatives
Seek medical advice if severe diarrhea or allergic reactions occur
